Curriculum
CASA is developing curriculum on all levels that advances its vision for education.
With respect to graduate and undergraduate programs, CASA will develop and deliver new graduate education programs (joint Ph.D. programs, cross-campus interdisciplinary mentoring, share/develop seminars and modules); develop and deliver new undergraduate and graduate courses; and share new curriculum with partners and others by large-scale dissemination of courses, utilizing technological resources.
K-12 education includes developing CASA-related professional development courses for teachers delivered via Summer Content Institutes and technology, as well as opportunities for teachers to engage in active research and curriculum development. Partnerships with the Massachusetts Department of Education and local school districts will strengthen CASA's outreach and dissemination.
The following table summarizes all of the CASA courses, both new and modified. This list is a working document that is updated each semester and used to provide the CASA community with educational resources as well as to motivate future CASA courses.
